i have been a yankees fan since i was a kid in the eightys when the yankees were bad, don mattingly was my favorite player being a first baseman myself, there may be bandwagon fans out there, but i am not one of them. why can't i like the yankees if i live in nc, last time i looked, we don't have a pro baseball team to root for. face it guys, there is alot of hating left to do and i will be here with you every step of the way. looking forward to it, even if they don't win it all, your team will never be in the spotlight like the yankees are.

WMFD has so many affiliates that change from month-to-month. It cost money to get streaming rights and it is too much for us to stream every affiliate. As far as UNCW baseball goes, you can get UNCW baseball games from Yahoo Sports. This is the first year you do not need to be a subscriber to get Yahoo Sports.

Why do you not stream your broadcasts live on the internet? Would love to listen to Seahawk baseball at 4, but I work until six and cant hear it. Why not?

i do agree with you some on having local folks having a show talking about pro and college sports would be pretty good, and maybe some local, some, but to much would get really boring i think.

I agree that Wilmington isnt a sports lovers dream but all im saying is I think people in Wilmington would like to hear some local guys or gals discuss the world of sports instead of Colin Cowherd or other ESPN radio personalities. Having 2 people on theradio everyday giving their opinion and taking local calls on the issues would be great for the town. Incorporate local sports bars and get the community in the discussion.

the pittsburgh pirates have to be one of the worse ran teams in recent history, a team that has a great past, a great sports town, in which i hate, but that is beside the point. it is a wonder people show up at all, oh well, just sit around and wait for football to start i guess, but again, what else are you going to do when you live in pittsburgh, no doubt, one of the nastiest places i have ever been.
